So it’s been a few months since my last post on the blog after a wild summer with a lot of projects on the move. One of the projects that I was working on was a short documentary titled “The Ebb & The Flow”. I’ve mentioned on the blog before, but for those who aren’t as familiar with my work, I’m also a filmmaker and cinematographer.
Over the past year I’ve been looking for the right subject to create a short documentary about. Someone with a strong message to tell who feels comfortable doing so. I met Terry Gill about three years ago when we were both showcasing our work in the same gallery. Terry is a landscape painter who has an incredible talent and very unique style. Right away, Terry struck me as someone with a great personality and seemed like he may have an interesting story to tell. I caught back up with Terry this year and after meeting with him a couple of times, knew that he was someone who I could structure a short film around.
